Locations include:

  • Heslington, Heslington Road, Fishergate, Fulford, Fulford Road, Badger Hill, Hull Road
  • The Groves, Gillygate, Heworth, Haxby Road, Wigginton Road and the City Centre

One of our offices is located within 5 minutes walk of the University of York in Heslington village and our other office is located on Lord Mayor's Walk next to the York St John University campus. Both offices are open 5 days a week.

We are proud to manage many of the highest standard student homes in York. 

All our student properties have:

  • Utility bills included for the vast majority of properties.
  • High Speed broadband (Virgin Fibre wherever possible)
  • Fitted kitchens with a washing machine, oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. 

In addition, some of our properties also have dishwashers, tumble dryers, gardens, conservatories, en suites, garages and/or off street parking.

For your peace of mind we employ our own in-house skilled maintenance team.

  • We carry out any emergency repairs quickly
  • Tenants have access to an 'out of hours' emergency service
  • We fully inspect all properties prior to you moving in and then regularly throughout your tenancy
  • We provide you with a fully itemised inventory at the start of your tenancy detailing the true condition of all the contents, fixtures and fittings

FAIR AND AFFORDABLE

We know that finances are tight when you are studying!

  • We do not charge any fees whatsoever for finding you the right accommodation
  • Most of the rent payments coincide with your student loan payments
  • We have a wide range of rents which directly reflect the location and standard of our property concerned
  • Rent is expressed as 'per person per week' (pppw)  including bills. The higher the rent, the higher the standard of the property and/or the better the location, although 1 and 2 bed properties tend to cost more per person.
  • Rent includes all bills, ie. gas, electricity, water, sewerage, high speed broadband and personal contents insurance for the vast majority of properties.
  • Generally speaking, the larger the house, the lower the bills per person.
  • Council Tax is NOT included ~ If everyone in the house is in full time education you can apply for full exemption by contacting City of York Council.
  • We protect your deposit (at no cost to you) with a Government approved tenancy deposit protection scheme.

OUR EXCELLENT TENANTS!

All our properties are each inspected three times per year. Two inspections are carried out during the tenancy and one after our student tenants have vacated. This 'final inspection' is carried out by an independent company.

We are very pleased with how well the majority of students look after their homes and we therefore try to reward those that do by entering them into a Cash Prize Draw after each round of inspections.
